RVM

RVM w00t RUBY!!!

I’ve been really enjoying using RVM to manage my ruby installs.. even on boxes with just one ruby. Gathering some notes here for it.

iPad meh

I was looking forward to seeing the new iPad specs and info this week. I’d probably have even purchased one for my simple needs:

larger iPhone format for reading my books

larger format for watching videos (iPhone is OK, but not the awesome).

greater flexibility in running what I want

Birthers almost had it right (almost)

I’m still researching the details. Check back here later for the full story.

Obama wasn’t born in Hawaii

The moon landing was not faked. July 1969 Obama was a stoaway on the Apollo 11 return trip from the Moon.

powered by X

This website is powered by:

passenger – best way to host rails apps inside Apache in a painless way (for me at-least)

radiant – a wonderfully extensible CMS built on rails – I’m using my own fork hosted on github

papperclipped – asset management extension – picked Jim (saturnflyer) Gray’s branch

twitter extension – allows auto-tweeting of new posts and pulling of latest tweet into the CMS.

tags extension – lets me tag any page in radiant and then offer up a tag search/tag cloud (nothing showing up yet).

Blagh? No way

welcome back to the intertubes

I’ve avoided having an active website of my own for a few years now. My old website on ModZer0 hasn’t even shown content in over a year. Not aiming to start up a new BLOG (that is so 2002). Instead I plan to use this place to organize my online activities, publish my own documentation of how things are, and give a home to some of my moldy projects in hopes they will spring to life again.
